MAINTENANCE OF ONEN ELECTRIC FORKLIFTS
The daily maintenance of ONEN electric forklifts is the key to ensuring their safe operation, extending their service life, and improving work efficiency. The following are detailed daily maintenance points, divided into routine inspections, cleaning and maintenance, key component maintenance, and precautions:
1、 ROUTINE INSPECTION
● Check the battery system daily to ensure sufficient power. When the power is below 20%, charge it to avoid excessive discharge.
● Check if the oil level of the hydraulic oil is between the markings, and replenish the same type of hydraulic oil if it is insufficient; Check the pipelines and joints for leaks, cracks, and looseness; Lift and tilt the gantry to test whether the oil cylinder is stable.
● Check the tire pressure and tire surface wear for pneumatic tires, and inspect solid tires for cracks, cuts, or abnormal wear. Check the hub bolts to ensure they are securely fastened without any looseness.
● Brake and steering system inspection, testing brake sensitivity, checking brake fluid level; Check the steering flexibility and whether the power assist of the steering motor is normal.
2、 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
● Car body cleaning, clean up oil stains and dust on the car body after daily work, especially debris on the radiator and motor surfaces. Avoid direct flushing of electrical components (such as controllers and instrument panels) with high-pressure water guns.
● Battery cleaning: Wipe the surface of the battery with a damp cloth to keep it dry and prevent the accumulation of acid or dust. Clean the metal debris inside the battery box to avoid short circuits.
● Lubricate the chain and door frame regularly, lubricate the door frame chain and bearings, and use lithium based grease (once a week or as needed). Check the tightness of the chain and adjust it if it is too loose.
3、 MAINTENANCE OF KEY PARTS
● Motor and controller, check if there is any abnormal noise or overheating during motor operation (if the temperature exceeds 60 ℃, stop the machine for inspection). Whether the controller's cooling fan is running normally and the ventilation holes are unobstructed.
● Electrical system, check if the wiring harness is worn or aged, and if the plug is secure. Check if the dashboard warning light is functioning properly and promptly address any fault codes.
● Check the fork and accessories for cracks, deformation, and secure installation. Is the hydraulic pipeline and function of the accessory normal.
4、 PRECAUTIONS
▲ Charging safety, turn off the power before charging, ensure good ventilation in the charging environment, avoid high-temperature charging for lithium batteries, and let lead-acid batteries sit for 30 minutes after charging before use.
▲ Operating habits, avoid sudden acceleration and braking, and reduce the load on batteries and mechanical components. Overloading is prohibited, and it is strictly forbidden to move the forks when they are raised.
▲ Long term shutdown: Before shutdown, charge the battery to 50%~80% and disconnect the power supply. Start at least once a month to operate the hydraulic and electrical systems.
5、 SUGGESTED MAINTENANCE CYCLE
PROJECT | FREQUENCY |
Battery check | Everyday |
Hydraulic oil inspection | Every week |
Tire and brake inspection | Every week |
Comprehensive lubrication | Every month |
Professional maintenance | Every 500 hours or half a year |
*The above maintenance cycle can be adjusted according to actual needs
Through standardized daily maintenance, the failure rate can be reduced and repair costs can be lowered. Adjust the maintenance plan according to the actual usage environment. If any abnormalities are found (such as abnormal noise, oil leakage, or decreased power), immediately shut down for maintenance.
