For the newly purchased forklift, whether it is an electric forklift or a diesel forklift, usually the equipment dealer will install the forklift and then deliver it to us. When we receive the equipment, it can be used directly without installation. But have you also considered importing forklift equipment from abroad? Is it also free of installation for imported forklifts?
The conventional lifting height of electric forklift or diesel forklift is 3 meters, 3.5 meters, 4 meters, 4.5 meters, 5 meters, 5.5 meters, 6 meters. And 3-4 meters with 2 stages double mast, 4.5-6 meters with 3 stages triple mast. However, if the forklift needs to be loaded into the container for transportation, the 2 stages mast for 4 meters lifting height and the 3 stages mast for more than 5 meters cannot be loaded into the container because of the high height. In this case, the exporter needs to remove the mast, and then install the mast on the forklift when the consignee receives the goods.
Now we will teach you step by step how to install the mast on the forklift. Before assemble the mast, please ensure proper protection and safety measures are taken!
1, When receive the goods, open the package carefully
2,Before loose the mast, please make sure it’s fixed tighly by another forklift or other suitable tools, in case of any kind of harm.
4,Use a loading ramp or other equipment to lift up the front of forklift at least 30cm, or find a place have a pit to work under the forklift.
5, Disassemble two front wheels by a 24MM screw socket
6, Disassemble the holding clips on the mast.
7, Unscrew and take out the pins on both side of the mast 
8, Use a frame crane or forklift or other suitable equipment to lift up and install the mast. During the installation make sure the mast is hanging by the crane steady.
9, Assemble the mast holding part against on the right position of the front bridge.
10, Fit the mast ring and the ring of push rob perfectly, plug in the pins and screw up tighly.
11, Connect the tubes on the mast and the forklift tighly firmly.
Now you have installed the mast on the forklift successfully, please test all the parts and functions make sure they are in good running.
